Rescue Regions and Directors
What is a Regional Director?
Regional Directors will
be a point of contact for anyone in their region who is interested in
keeshond rescue. These inquirers might want to adopt, notify someone about
a keeshond in need, need to relinquish a kees, or just have basic questions
about keesies.
Being a Regional
Director will be an autonomous position. A Regional Director will not have
any requirements regarding their personal involvement in rescue. In fact,
someone who is unable to foster or otherwise physically help with rescue
will find this a perfect way to be a volunteer. They will become familiar
with rescuers, transporters, shelters, and other valuable rescue contacts in
their region. Any region can be broken down into smaller regions if that
proves to be more workable.
How do I become a
Regional Director?
The first requirement is
membership in KART. If you are not a current member complete the
Membership Application.
Once a member an
individual only needs to contact KART (info@keesangels.org) and express your
interest and your preferred region. There is no fee and there are no
requirements. A basic agreement will be signed between the Regional
Director and KART.
