Breeders’ Assistance
What Can KART do to help Reputable Breeders?
Keeshond Angels Rescue and Transport believes that all
reputable breeders who have keeshonden needing homes or transport deserve
assistance just as much as the keeshonden that end up in shelters or saved from
puppy mills . Therefore KART offers as much or as little assistance to
breeders as is desired.
Following are just some of the ways in which KART is
able to assist. If you need assistance and don’t see the type of help you
need listed feel free to contact us and explain your need.
Breeder Assistance
Request Form
Rehoming/Placement Assistance
This assistance
can be as limited or as extensive as desired, including application
processing, reference checking, vet references, home visits, etc. It can be
done on an as-needed basis or on a yearly contract basis. A donation to
KART will be required and is negotiable depending upon services requested.
Transport
Assistance
• Transport
assistance for returning dogs
• Transport
assistance in placing pups in new homes
This assistance would necessitate the new or returning
owner making a donation to KART and, depending on length of transport,
gas donations also.
Foster Assistance
• Foster assistance for
temporarily or permanently disabled or ill breeders
This assistance would be aimed at helping a breeder keep his/her breeding
stock intact and together, if possible, so that when recovery is complete
the dogs can be returned to the breeder/owner. If permanent disability or
death occurs, KART will assist executors in fostering/transporting/placing
dogs according to the breeder/owner’s wishes.
What can the Reputable Breeder do to help KART?
Any
reputable breeder who needs assistance or knows of another breeder needing
assistance can complete the Breeder Request for Assistance form. KART will
get in touch with them to discuss assistance needed and how best to assist
them.
